1. The app’s license
Sutrah is distributed through Apple’s App Store. Its app license is Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Follow that link to read the applicable app terms.
This page explains Sutrah’s purchases, feature requirements and current creator-programme status. It does not replace Apple’s EULA or the purchase terms presented by the App Store.
2. Devices, permissions and availability
Sutrah is available for iPhone with iOS 17 or later. Check the App Store listing for availability in your storefront and the latest version.
App shielding requires Apple Screen Time authorization and an app selection. Notifications and Fajr alarms require the relevant iOS permissions; AlarmKit behavior requires a supported iOS version. Map, city-search and recitation features use external services and need connectivity.
Strict mode removes Sutrah’s in-app early-end and Quran/dhikr unlock options during a session. The device and its permissions remain under your control. Notification delivery and external services depend on iOS settings and service availability.
3. Sutrah Pro purchases
Sutrah offers optional Pro access through App Store purchases. The app may show a yearly subscription, weekly subscription or one-time lifetime purchase, depending on availability. Current prices, currency, billing period, eligibility and any trial are displayed by the App Store before you confirm a purchase.
A subscription renews according to the terms presented by Apple unless you cancel it. A lifetime purchase is a one-time purchase rather than an auto-renewing subscription. Do not assume that a displayed trial applies to every Apple Account; eligibility is determined by the App Store.
Use “Restore purchases” in Sutrah’s Pro screen with the Apple Account used for the original purchase. Apple must confirm an entitlement before Pro access can be granted.
4. Cancellation and refunds
Manage an App Store subscription in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Sutrah. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
If you do not want a trial to renew, Apple advises cancelling at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Read Apple’s cancellation instructions for the steps and regional details.
Refund requests go through reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple determines eligibility and approval; sending Sutrah support an email does not itself issue a refund. See Apple’s refund instructions.
5. Prayer times and worship tools
Sutrah calculates prayer times and Qibla direction using saved coordinates and your settings. Calculation methods, local conventions and moon-sighting decisions can differ. Check the app’s settings against your local mosque’s guidance, especially after travel or a time-zone change.
The app’s educational guides and calculators are general tools. They do not replace advice from a qualified person about your own religious circumstances. Verify important times and use another reminder when needed.
6. The planned creator programme
The creator community page currently accepts expressions of interest through an email draft you choose to send. It does not activate Pro, issue a code or guarantee acceptance.
Six months of Pro for creators and a three-month audience offer are planned. These rewards are not currently available to redeem. Final eligibility, storefront availability, redemption instructions and any renewal terms will be published or confirmed before the programme opens. Do not promise an audience offer before receiving confirmed details.
This interest list does not promise a cash payment. Creators keep their content rights; sending a profile or video link does not grant Sutrah permission to reuse that work in advertising. Any paid campaign or content-use permission requires a separate conversation. If a creator receives a benefit, that relationship should be disclosed clearly to the audience.
7. Privacy and external services
Read the privacy policy for information about local app storage, Apple services, streamed audio, website requests and email correspondence. The App Store, Maps, audio delivery and services you open from links have their own terms and policies.
Sutrah does not ask you to send passwords, verification codes, government identifiers or payment details to support.
