Is Sutrah available for my phone?

Sutrah is available for iPhone running iOS 17 or later. Some features, including native alarms, depend on your iOS version and permissions. Check the App Store listing for current compatibility.

Is Sutrah free?

Sutrah is free to download with optional Sutrah Pro purchases. Open the app to see the plans, local prices, trial eligibility and current feature access offered by the App Store.

Does the Quran work offline?

Yes. Quran text, transliteration and translations are bundled with the app. Recitation audio streams when played; city lookup and maps also need a connection.

How does app blocking work?

You grant access through Apple’s Screen Time frameworks and choose the apps to hold. Sutrah can apply prayer-time holds and focus sessions. Strict mode removes Sutrah’s early-end and Quran/dhikr unlock options until the session ends. iOS permissions remain in your control.

Can I use Sutrah without sharing my location?

Yes. Type your city instead of allowing location. City lookup uses Apple services, and the saved coordinates let Sutrah calculate prayer times and Qibla. Update the saved city when travelling.
